    Description

This listing is for William Henry B05 Monarch
    KLONDIKE
    knife. It is the
    50th in a series of only 50.
It is the last of its kind ever made. No more will be.
The production date for this item was
    July 17, 2013
. The special edition knife features a “
    Wave
” black-coated Damascus blade. I took multiple pictures in different lights so it can be seen how it reflects.
The scaling of this knife sticks to the name that the William Henry team gave it. It is made of part of a
    fossilized mammoth
. Not too long ago, the wooly mammoth walked beside humans in many places including the
    Klondike
. It has only been a few thousand years since they went extinct. And yet, they can still walk with us today. A slice of a natural history could be in your pocket in the form of a knife.
    The fossil is also
    ring-cut
. The fantastic purpose of this particular type of cutting in this fashion is the reason for it. You can see the aging of the animal by the markings and rings similar to a tree.

Please, refer to the COA picture attached specifically about further details into the scales mentioned above

    The
    ZPD-189 core
of this knife, mentioned in the COA, means it has more chromium. And with that it makes it more corrosive resistant as well as the general strength and hardness.
The thumb and button stone are two remarkable
    red topazes
. It really does contrast against the sterling silver that circles and weaves above the ancient scales.
The removable and replaceable tray insert of the display box has some wear and expected flaking with age.
The knife has never been carried or sharpened.
    It is in pristine condition.
Please, do not hesitate to contact me with questions. I took a variety of pictures to try to get every angle but if you would like more just ask!
What you see in the pictures is what you are buying. And, please, look carefully at each one because I do not accept returns.
If you like what you see make sure to check out my other William Henry listings! I only list one of each Collectible knife. I am a private owner and not a shop or reseller. This means there are no doubles and no second-chances if you miss out on a knife. There will be more listed over time though.
If you do fancy a certain type of knife whether it be the type of lanyard, display box it comes with, scales, inlay material, certain gems involved, koftgari, blade patterns, carvings, age of blade completion, size of set, silver, or gold etc, you can message me to see if I have anything along those lines unlisted as well.
New ones are going up all the time.
Keep an eye out or drop me a message :)
