Description

This uncirculated 5 Western Samoan pound note is a reprint of the standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Western Samoa in 2020. It is a brown, red, yellow, and blue note that bears the signature of N. O. Maitland, and measures 167 mm x 88 mm. Its obverse side features a machete, a kava bowl, the flag, and the national coat of arms. Its reverse side shows palm trees, mountains, the ocean, and cocoa trees. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a watermark with a BWS pattern.
