    Description

    This listing is for a beautiful early Harvey McBurnette Lockback Folding Knife.
    The knife features a mirror polished blade with a single nail nick with a white handle.  The handle has engraved forward and rear dovetailed nickel silver bolsters, fancy filework on the blade spine, backspacer and liners with engraving on the blade, as well.
    Great lockup, function and blade seating.  Excellent condition.  There are some very small surface scratches on the blade that can only be seen in the right light and there is a small 1/2" hairline fracture on the handle near the bottom silver bolster on the back side.
    The knife is 8 1/4" open, the blade is 3 1/4" and 4 3/4" closed.
    This is a beautiful knife by the late Harvey McBurnette (Passed away in 1997).   McBurnette is considered to be one of the  legendary knife makers in the U.S.  He began making knives in Gadsden, AL and then moved to New Mexico for health reasons.  This listing is for one of the knife's that he made in AL.
