    Description

    Up for sale is this estate found very Large Custom P.J Tomes Folding Drop Point Knife with liner lock and Serrated Bone Handles in a Black Shagreen ( sting ray skin)  Sheath . I really didn't want to sell this one , But I really don't have a choice right now , so your gain ? This knife  and the the other knifes i am auction of later this week ( Stan Shaw / crookes knife , Small Tomes slip joint & Sterling fruit knife ) and few others all came from the same Ct estate . It is 10 3/8" Long and the handle is 5 7/8 " long with the blade being 4 1/2" long .I think its probably a earlier Tomes knife and Larger then any others i could find ?  What I think are bone handles have some slight discoloring starting and have carved serrated design on both handles . It has some light scratches to bolster , and the blade has never been sharpened and also has just some light cloth scratches .Very Clean smooth knife but does has a slight side to side wobble on blade but probably normal for knife this large and everything seems  tight. The Stingray shagreen  case has spots on the  leather and some wear to inside of sheath. I am sure this was probably a special order knife and i have nothing to compare it to as far as a price or worth of the knife .
