For Sale:
A Crown Ducal fine china salad or dessert plate, made by A.G. Richardson and Co., Ltd., of Tunstall and Cobridge, England in their Florentine shape. Dimensions: 8 1/4” (side), 3/4” (depth), 12.8 oz. (weight).
An attractive piece with a cream high relief floral and fruit pattern and a multicolored floral decoration of tulips and peonies. The floral transfer was hand decorated with additional color highlights. This plate is suitable for inclusion in a working set of fine china or a collection. The Florentine shape was in production from 1930s to the 1960s.

different floral transfers were applied to the Florentine shape. If you’re adding to a matched set, check that the floral design matches.
Identifying Marks:
“Crown Ducal”, “Florentine”,” Made in”, “England” (standard mark: 4 lines under crown), “h(?)”(mark hand written in red).
Condition:
Used – light normal wear. There’s a very small chip (~.08”) hidden under the rim, a mark on the edge of the rim, minor scratches, and the usual manufacturing surface irregularities on the back. These issues are not distracting, and the overall appearance is pleasing.
