Steve Jernigan Handmade Linerlock Interframe Folding Knife Mokume Inlays CPM440V

Description

This magnificent folding knife was handcrafted by the late Steve Jernigan. Steve was considered a world-class knifemaker and many of the best makers today apprenticed under him or the years. This is a large linerlock folder we acquired in a collection. It is mint and as from the maker. 4 1/4" satin finished blade is CPM440V. It has some filework on the spine and a thumbstud for easy opening. Stamped JERNIGAN on  one side of the blade and CPM440V H06 on the other. Measures 5 1/4" closed. Handle frame in satin finished stainless with Mokume inlays on both sides. Backstrap is also Mokume. Opens smoothly, pivot runs on bronze bushings. Locks up solid with Steve's integral linerlock. This is a wonderful piece of work and reflects Steve's attention to detail and fit and finish. He was one of the best and a special person as well. Shipped in ConUS Priority Mail with signature.
