The Blade is 440HC a super sharp alloy and the blade design is a SPEAR Point at 3 1/4" long and the blade edge is 3" and it does have a thumb stud for easy opening.It is also Locking some call this a Linerlock or a Framelock, because the lock is part of the entire liner I'd call this a Frame Lock, and that's always a good thing (safety). All of the metal on this knife is stainless and it also has a Pocket Clip. but I would tell you to use a nylon Belt sheath in the 39 years I've been selling knives I have seen to many people lose there knife from sliding out of their pocket. The Handle as you can see is Gorgeous and rare it is mined at
Nacozari Mine in Sonora, Mexico,

Features and Information;
Vein Turquoise
The power of water, wind and time have worked it's magic at the Nacozari Mine in Sonora, Mexico, just south of Bisbee, Arizona. These forces have created beautiful Vein Turquoise, which runs like a river sandwiched between canyon walls. The host rock, or boulder, offers a wonderful contrast to the Vein Turquoise that it surrounds.
The Spalted Beech used in our collection is from Denmark and has been responsibly harvested, and has been collected over the past 10 years. The process of drying, priming and stabilizing is done to the highest standards.
Our supplier Raffir is one of the most respected exotic material suppliers, and the Spalted Beech Collection is the beginning of Santa Fe Stone works exotic wood series.
