Custom Benjamin Barker Straight Razor, Antique Brass

This old school straight razor is aptly named after Benjamin Barker, the demon barber of Fleet St, though it does not have a mirror polished finish. It has a super thin double hollow ground S30V blade that is shave-ready and a milled brass frame. The frame is pinned to a copper backspacer and has been heat patinaed and tumbled for a bit of a vintage vibe. It will continue to patina over time and grow in character just as you do. The Benjamin Barker comes signed on the inside of the handlebar David M. Rydbom ,a Signed leather case and
was handmade in the USA.
For strength and edge retention purposes, David has chosen to make use of Crucible's S30V stainless steel, heat treated exclusively by Paul Bos, with a Rockwell between 57-59 for maximum strength and ease of end-user sharpening.
