    Description

The Fijian 2 Dollar banknote that comes in a combination of green, yellow, and light blue was issued by the Central Monetary Authority of Fiji in 1983. Its obverse features shells, tools, and artifacts in underprint, the coat of arms of Fiji, and Queen Elizabeth II. The reverse of the paper bill displays two men with machetes cutting sugarcane in a field and a train loaded with sugar cane. The banknote is 156 x 67 mm in size and bears a solid security thread and a registration device in the form of a domodomo or a canoe masthead. It also has a watermark that reflects the profile of a Fijian. This banknote is in used condition.
