Enrique Pena’s knives are incredibly precise, the workmanship is truly outstanding. His achievements with his custom pieces are often compared to Sergey Rogovets, considered the grand master of precision custom knives.
His choice of materials, fit and finish, and design of this “Talon” is simply superb in every way- the epitome of what a custom knife should be. Every facet is absolutely pristine, every detail is perfect, including the ultra smooth blade “action”. The blade centering is “dead on”. The Knife is light weight, sleek and ergonomically satisfying. The blade works on caged bearings, lockup is early and the blade seating is extremely solid, detent early and totally secure. The titanium handles have a light orange peel texture, with milled holes to both reduce weight, add extra traction, and lend added attractiveness. A proper size sharpening choil has been incorporated in the blade.
The brilliant blue anodized backspacer is superbly incorporated, along with the matching blue pivot collars and various matching screws. These added accents make a striking statement. Lastly, Enrique has added a Mokuti Timascus clip to further enhance this amazing piece.
A padded Pena nylon zippered, padded pouch is included.
