    Description

    Dymondwood Knife Scales. Dymondwood is a product that was made by Rutland Plywood, which burnt down in 2014. It is very hard to get now. It is made of dyed hardwood veneer glued with epoxy resin and heat. it is water proof. it will not float in water. Even though it is so hard it is easy to work with. work down to 0000 steel wool and then buff it out.  No finish is needed. Makes a very durable knife handle. This is a Dymondwood layup that was called Magnum. Photos of Knife just to show how it can look.  5 inches long 1 1/2 inches wide 3/8 thick. I try to give matching scales you can flip one to get different look on other side. 8 to 9
    plys per scale.
