Doc Shiffer Full Custom Recon Flipper Folding Knife RARE. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
Up for sale is a used but in almost perfect condition Doc Shiffer Full Custom Recon Flipper. Knife sports a 3in bead blasted Tanto blade. Features include Carbon Fiber scales, Bronze anodized Titanium bolsters, Bronze anodized lock side, over travel disk, and a custom Bronze anodized Titanium spring clip. Thick lock bar and blade locks up at approximately 60% (due to thickness) and rock solid. Blade is also dead center when closed.
Please be advised that there are some snail trail marks on the bolster and lock side. Pocket clip could use some tightening, as it does have slight movement. Also the action is fairly tight and does need tweaking. Right now it needs some wrist flick for opening.
Overall a fantastic piece, by a great custom maker. This is the only Tanto Recon I have seen in this configuration as well.
Knife will also ship in a padded zipper pouch.
