Series was published by Scott Foresman. Richard Wiley illustrations of African American characters began in the 1965 edition.
For sale is one page only. This two sided page is from the very large easel backed books that were placed on the teacher's desk so kids could follow in their smaller ones.
The new African American characters Mike, Pam and Penny appear first in this edition (but none of the three appear on this two sided piece).
Page in a very good condition. Light wear along the edges.
This page would look great matted and framed in kids or grandkids room.
Page measures approx. 20 1/2" x 19 1/4"
