Antique Occupational Shaving Mug Eagle/E Pluribus Unum/Clock Face Watch Maker ?

DESCRIPTION:
Unusual, antique porcelain occupational shaving mug. It is not clear to me what the occupation is - it features a wonderful, hand painted design that is similar to the Insignia of the United States with an eagle, E Pluribus Unum banner, a flag, arrows and olive branches. However, the eagle is perched on a clock face which makes me think of an occupation like watch or clock maker, or perhaps a night watchman. If anyone out there has an idea, I'd love to hear from you. The owners last name appears to be abbreviated - looks like Craml. or Croml.
The mug measures about 3 7/8" across the top rim and 4" tall. It has no makers name or country of origin on the underside. Very good condition with no chips or cracks. Some wear to the gold stripes - mainly around the base and the outside curve of the handle.
