100 Sets of O/Size TRW .020 Piston Rings for 1955-1983 Harley Davidson Big Twin
We bought 12 tractor trailer loads of motorcycle parts inventory from Dixie International / Dixie Distributing when they liquidated their entire inventory. Since we have several warehouses of other inventory that were still going through, we are offering to sell bulk lots of this inventory. You are purchasing just one box off of the pallet that you see in the pictures. That box contains 100 sets of piston rings. The part # on the box is #228PR .020. As you can see in the 6th picture, we found that part number in an old Dixie Distributing
catalog. That part number is for 1955 and later FLH model Harley-Davidson. That would be the big twin and not sportster. According to our parts manager, it only goes up to 1983. These rings are for pan head and shovel head engines. In 1984 they came out with the evolution big twin engine that superseded those models. These rings are .020 oversize from the stock bore size of 3 7/16 for the 74 inch (1200cc) engine. The stock bore for the 80" is 3.50" so these rings would not be .020 over for the 80". I could not find the conversion chart but 80" oversize would be less than .020".
These are new piston rings but have been sitting in a warehouse for decades so don't expect the boxes to be in pristine condition.

If an item has already been packaged for shipping and you purchase another item we will NOT repackage your items, they will ship separately. If there is a difference in the shipping cost we will issue you a partial refund. If you prefer we do NOT combine multiple items please contact us so we can inform our shipping department.
Shipping Quotes:
If you are interested in purchasing multiple items and would like to know what your shipping amount will be before purchasing the items please use the “Ask Seller a Question” link and provide the following information: Items’ listing numbers and titles, quantities of each item you are interested in and where you would like the items shipped to. Buyers in the United States please provide your zip code, buyers in Canada please provide your postal code and all other buyers please state which country the items will be shipped to. All shipping quotes are valid for 30 days from the issue date.
Automatic Invoicing:
If an item is not paid for within three days of being purchased and we have not received any correspondence from you we will automatically send an invoice. If you have finished shopping please make your payment within 10 days of the purchase date. If you wish to purchase additional items please contact us and request a combined invoice before submitting your payment.
Handling Time:
Items normally ship within one business day of your payment clearing; however if there is a problem with your shipping address, extreme weather conditions, etc. there may be a delay.
Tracking Information:
Once our shipping department has generated your shipping label you will receive an automated email with your tracking number. You can also view your item’s tracking information through “My Ebay”. If you do not receive your tracking number please contact us through the “Ask Seller a Question” link.

We accept PayPal, Visa and MasterCard, we do not accept personal checks. Payment must be received within 10 days of purchase or we will open a “Non Paying Bidder” dispute with Ebay. If you pay with PayPal please verify your PayPal address is correct as we will only ship to the registered PayPal address. We will not make any exceptions in regards to shipping addresses and methods of payment which we accept.
Shipping Terms:
During checkout you will often be given the option to choose between UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail shipping. If you have a P.O. Box address select USPS Priority Mail since UPS does NOT deliver to P.O. Boxes. If you select UPS shipping and your PayPal account is a P.O. Box we will ship the item through USPS Priority Mail if the amount you have already paid for UPS shipping covers USPS Priority Mail shipping. If additional funds are required we will hold your order and send you a request for additional funds to ship the item via USPS Priority Mail.
If you are interested in arranging alternate shipping methods such as overnight delivery, second day delivery, etc. please contact us via email prior to purchasing the item so we can verify if this is feasible. Please keep in mind we will NOT make alternate shipping arrangements over the phone; all correspondences must be made via email.
Our Guarantee:
After receiving your item(s) you have 14 days to inspect your order for damage, completeness and overall satisfaction. If you are dissatisfied with your order you are eligible to return it in accordance with our return policy:
Our customer service email is noted on the invoice inside your package. Please email that department within 14 days of receiving your item to begin the return process.
If your item is damaged please retain all of the packaging material, original shipping box and the item’s original packaging as the shipping provider may request photos of this material to investigate the damage claim.
If you receive an item which is materially different (ie. the item received is a different color, design or completely different) than what was shown in the eBay listing please contact our customer service department at the email noted on your invoice so we can begin the return process and issue you a full refund once we receive and inspect the item.
If the item is not materially different and you decide you do not want the item you purchased please retain the original packaging as the item MUST be returned to us in the same condition it was shipped. You are responsible to pay the return shipping cost and insure the item for the full purchase price. A .00USD restock fee will be deducted from your refund to cover eBay fees and processing.
